Day 1 - Hometown - Anchorage

Today you will arrive in Alaska’s largest city and also its biggest transportation hub, Anchorage. Positioned in the in the center of Alaska’s southern coast, it contains 40% of Alaska’s total population- about 300,000 people. It is the four-time winner of the “All-America City Award.”In addition to those visiting Anchorage as a stop on their cruise, 90% of all visitors to Alaska will stop in Anchorage. For tourists, it’s a must-see location due to its culture, history and the amazing scenic views near the city.

Around 18:00, our guide will take you to popular Glacier Brewhouse to have the welcome dinner and enjoy the King Carb! After that, go back to the hotel and rest.

If you miss the Welcome Dinner at the first day due to personal reason, the fee is not refundable.

Day 2 - Explore Knik Glacier - Backwoods Lodge

Today we expect to depart from the hotel at 09:00 in the morning and drive for about 1 hour to the Knik River Chalet Resort. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to see Alaskan wild animals such as moose and Bighorn goats. You will board a hovercraft here to start a 3-hour glacial tour. You will be guided by a professional guide for a 1-hour hike along the glacier to visit the faint blue ice cave. Guides along the way will explain at any time. We will provide you with studs for hiking travel. You will be guided by our professional guides to see the most spectacular sights of the glacier. You will taste local specialty puree soup in the Igloo on the glacier to drive away the winter cold.

After, you are expected to leave the glacier at about 1:30 pm, and the tour guide will take you to the small town of Talkeetna, which is expected to arrive at 16:00. We will take you to taste the local cuisine and have the opportunity to taste the local hand-made beer made from glacial meltwater and spring water at your own expense, leaving you unforgettable enjoyment between your lips and teeth.

Afterwards, we will go to the Alaska Specialty Cottage next to the Denali National Park where you will experience the most natural lifestyle in Alaska. It is expected to arrive at the hotel at 8 pm.

Day 3 - Denali N.P. - Aurora Winter Train -Fairbanks

After breakfast, you can enjoy a relaxing morning with beautiful Alaskan wilderness under the sun. After lunch, we will depart at 13pm for Denali National Park. You will have the opportunity to delve deep into the interior of the national park and enjoy more exotic winter scenery.

At 15:55pm, we are heading to the Denali National Park station for the Northern Lights train to the Aurora Capital, Alaska’s second largest city, Alaska’s northernmost city and the best place to enjoy Aurora – Fairbanks, about 4 hours by car, arrive at 20pm. The tour guide will take you to the Alaska Borealis Basecamp.

Day 4 - Free Day

Arctic Circle
9:45am, you will leave Fairbanks and continue your journey to the North. First stop will be at Alyeska Pipeline Visitor’s Center, you will stop at Hilltop Gas Station where you can use the restroom and buy some snacks.

12:30 pm, you will reach the rugged Dalton Highway, where we will stop for the photo with the Dalton Highway Sign around 15 mins.

Then we will continue to the Yukon River Camp which you will reach around 2:20 pm (depending on road conditions).

Enjoy a quick hot meal and continue on to the Arctic Circle around 4:50 pm. On the return trip, we will stop once more at Yukon River to use the restroom.

We will arrive at Borealis Basecamp at 9:30 pm.

Travel to one of the “loneliest roads in the world”- the Dalton Highway, featured in the series “Ice Road Truckers.” Along the way, see Alaska’s famous oil pipeline, the mighty Yukon River, and the amazing storybook scenery as you journey towards the Arctic Circle. Keep your eyes peeled for an Arctic Fox! Our final destination is the Arctic Circle Sign, it shows you have crossed the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion and will receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate. Enjoy stunning views of interior Alaska and witness firsthand the remarkable wilderness scenery blanketed in snow.

Our tour will make you have more time to experience the expansive landscapes and fascinating cultures unique to Alaska’s Arctic in the short-day time of Winter.

Chena Hot Springs Aurora Observation Cabin

Chena Hot Springs is an unincorporated community in the Fairbanks North Star Borough that is renowned for its hot springs and private resort. These destinations, in addition to a campground, are located at the end of Chena Hot Springs Road, a forest-flanked paved road that parallels the Chena River, 56 miles east of the Steese Highway and Fairbanks. The recreation area is home to some of the best hiking, canoeing, public-use cabins and fishing in the area.

Dog Sledding in Winter / Dog Cart in Autumn

Tour Contents: Before Europeans arrived in Alaska, dog sledding was already a very important part of Alaskan local life. Dog sleds were the most convenient way to travel and to deliver important supplies between local villages in the dead of winter. Even today, dogsleds continue to be used in remote portions of Alaska for daily travel needs. On this tour, snuggle under a warm blanket with a friend and enjoy the rush of a brisk 30-minute sled ride through the beautiful forests of Alaska. Your musher will happily take photos for you. You will be won over by both these enthusiastic Alaskan Huskies and their mushers.


Tour pick-ups begin at 10:00 a.m. Please be ready in the lobby of your hotel. You will travel to the outskirts of town, a journey which will last about 1 hour depending on road conditions.

After arrival, you will be able to take photos with the dogs, enjoy some hot drinks while being assigned to a sled. Your ride will last 30 minutes. Depending on the size of your group, there may be more than 1 round of sleds that go out before you depart to return to Fairbanks. Usually, time on site is about 1 hour, after which you will return to your hotel where you can rejoin the tour for lunch and the Fairbanks City Tour in the afternoon.

*Please note, the sleds on this tour variously accommodate 2-4 people and are assigned by weight and the musher’s knowledge of the dogs. You will need to share your sled with other people. Please follow the musher’s guidance when he assigns seating.

Day 7 - Fairbanks - Home

Today is the last day, and you need to check out before 11:00 am. We do provide 2 options for your choice.


Option 1: leave after check-out

Note: Please take the shuttle bus according to your flight and make sure to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours before the flight departure.


Option 2: Ice fishing & Santa Claus House ($179 per person with complimentary Fishing License, 11/15/2018-4/10/2019)

After check-out, you will take the shuttle (at 9:50am) head towards SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fairbanks at 12:35 pm. We will head towards the fishing area from Spring Hill by Marriott after approx. 30 mins. After the tour, the tour guide will send you to the airport or you can take the free shuttle bus towards the airport by yourselves.

  9. The Aurora Borealis are a natural phenomenon. There is no way for us to guarantee that you will see the Aurora. We do our best to provide premier locations for viewing, should the Aurora come out. Please check weather and Aurora reports before booking your tour with us.
  10. The winter weather in Fairbanks is changeable, we may temporarily cancel or change optional tour due to extremely weather condition. Partial refund may be available.
  11. Please note that T-Mobile is not available in Alaska.
