Around 13:00, Our guide will take you to the Anchorage city tour, including attraction such as Earthquake Park, Lake Hood Seaplane Base, Turn Again Arm and more!. After the city tour, we will take you to the popular Glacier Brewhouse to have the welcome dinner and enjoy the King Carb! After that, go back to the hotel and rest.
This 134-acre park is set in the woods where, in 1964, an entire neighborhood slid into the ocean during last century’s most powerful earthquake. The earthquake was measured at a 9.2 on the Richter scale and lasted 4 minutes. Today, this tragic event is commemorated in Anchorage’s Earthquake Park, where you’ll find signs explaining the circumstances of the quake and its effect on the area.
You’ll also find a great place to relax: the large, wooded park sits on the coast along the Knik Arm, between Hood Creek and Point Woronzof. And this spot allows for some dramatic views; on the north side of the park you’ll find open views across the Knik Arm and Chugach Mountains, while other spots have good views of Anchorage. Be sure to look for moose, as they’re sometimes found just off in the wooded areas of the park.
Lake Hood Seaplane Base is a state-owned seaplane base located three nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Anchorage in the U.S. state of Alaska. The Lake Hood Strip is a gravel runway located adjacent to the seaplane base.
Turn Again Arm is a waterway into the northwestern part of the Gulf of Alaska. It is one of two narrow branches at the north end of Cook Inlet, the other being Knik Arm. Turn Again is subject to climate extremes and large tide ranges.
Glacier Brewhouse Restaurant is Alaska’s first choice for Wild Alaskan Seafood, Rotisserie Roasted Meats and Handcrafted Ales.
If you miss the Welcome Dinner at the first day due to personal reason, the fee is not refundable.

The absorption chiller can keep the Museum cool even during Fairbanks’ hot summer months, when temperatures can reach over 90 degrees.
Chena Hot Springs is a hot spring, resort, and unincorporated community in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska, United States, 56.5 miles northeast of Fairbanks near the Chena River State Recreation Area. The resort makes use of the first low-temperature binary geothermal power plant built in Alaska, and is working on several alternative energy projects, including production and use of hydrogen and vegetable oil for fuel.

Dog Sledding (11/15/2018-4/10/2019) Plan: Before Europeans arrived in Alaska, Dog Sledding was already a very important part of Alaskan local life. Dog sleds were the most convenient way to travel and to deliver important supplies between local villages in the dead of winter. Even today, dogsleds continue to be used in remote portions of Alaska for daily travel needs. Your musher will happily take photos for you and with you. You will be won over by both these enthusiastic Alaskan Huskies and their mushers. This tour is designed for all age people. You will experience the power, excitement, and energy of our amazing sled dogs. Also learn all about raising Alaskan Huskies, the history for dog mush and what it takes to race a team of these fine athletes and hear stories of the trail from your musher.
Leaving the city of Fairbanks behind (around 11:00am) and travel one of the “loneliest roads in the world”- the Dalton Highway (around 12:30pm), along with the way, we will see Alaska’s famous oil pipeline (approx. 15 mins), the mighty Yukon River, and the amazing storybook scenery as you journey towards the Arctic Circle. Keep your eyes peeled for an Arctic Fox!
On your return from the Arctic Circle, you will stop at various locations for Northern Lights viewing. Upon completion of your journey, you will be presented with two certificates certifying that you have seen the Aurora and that you made it to the Arctic Circle.
We will drop you off to the Basecamp around 21:30pm.
